- 14 oz / 400 g watermelon (2 slices, each about 1 inch / 3 cm thick)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 sheet of nori
- 1 tsp miso
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- salt, pepper
Instructions
- Cut off the rind of your watermelon slices. Place them into an oven safe dish.
- Add marinade ingredients to a blender, and blend until completely smooth.
- Cover watermelon slices completely with the marinade (use your hands or a spoon to coat the slices evenly).
- Bake at 360°F/180°C for an hour, or until the liquid evaporates completely and watermelon slices are soft and turned dark.
- Let watermelon cool completely, then slice or dice, depending on how you want to use your watermelon tuna. Enjoy!
