- 3.5 oz/100 g rice waffles
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 1.5 tsp marmite
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1.5 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp MSG
- dash of liquid smoke
- 12 oz/350 ml warm water or vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp softened vegan butter
- 1 onion, diced
- salt, pepper
Instructions
- Crumble rice waffles into a bowl. Add tomato paste, marmite, nutritional yeast, onion and garlic powder, msg, liquid smoke, water or broth, and a large pinch of salt and pepper.
- Mix well together, until rice waffle pieces are completely soaked and everything is well combined.
- Add softened butter and diced onion, taste, and add more salt and pepper or spices, if needed.
- You can serve immediately, but Vegan Mett is best if placed in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving. Enjoy!
